Description

For our product, we chose Naticol® marine collagen from France, specifically its highly hydrolyzed form, in which the average peptide size is below 2000 Daltons — ensuring rapid and complete absorption.

An important additional difference is that this collagen is Neu5Gc-free. For this reason, we also recommend it to those following strict autoimmune protocols who avoid foods derived from mammals due to their Neu5Gc content (as most collagens are made from pork or bovine skin).

Compared to porcine and bovine collagens, it also contains a higher amount of glycine.

Suggested use

Several French and Japanese human clinical studies have been conducted with Naticol®. Based on these, a daily intake of 2.5–5 g may already be sufficient; however, a daily dose of 5–10 g is considered optimal, and this is what we recommend.

Higher amounts may also be consumed, but they are likely to provide only minimal additional benefits.

It can be mixed into any liquid, as it has a neutral taste. It works especially well in a morning cocoa drink or smoothie.
