A black pepper extract, BioPerine®, can increase the absorption of curcuminoids by up to 2000%. CURCUGREEN® (BCM-95®) is a patented turmeric extract that contains micronized curcuminoids together with turmeric essential oil — and has been shown to be up to six times more effective than the black pepper extract solution.
The active compound of ginger, gingerol, also enhances curcumin absorption and has effects similar to curcumin itself, especially when combined with ginger essential oils. In addition, a turmeric extract standardized for turmerones further significantly improves curcumin bioavailability.
