Powder mixture for making cheddar flavoured plant-based blocks

Ingredients: Modified starches (potatoes), Himalayan salt, faba bean protein, flavouring, tricalcium-phosphate, bamboo fiber, yeast extract, acidity regulator (citric acid), colours (carotenes)

Average nutritional values: made with water and coconut oil. *1 serving (approx. 250 g) of finished product per 100 grams

Preparation instructions for one block (250 g)

  1. Pour 73 g of liquid coconut oil (lukewarm) and 168 g of cold water into a pot.
  2. Add 1 portion of the powder mixture (83 g), mix thoroughly with a stick blender, then cook on the stove/hotplate, stirring frequently with the blender, on a medium-high setting until it thickens.
  3. Mix intensively for 3 minutes from the time it thickens.
  4. Pour it into a mould while it's still warm, cover it halfway and let it cool.
  5. Close the container and refrigerate for 48 hours and then it can be consumed.

The product is made in a plant that also processes nuts.

For the powder mixture: Store in a dry, cool place.

For the prepared product: Storage temperature: 2-8 °C

Use by: consume within 3 days of opening the covered container when stored in the refrigerator.
