GAL UC-II® Cartilage Complex 60 capsules

The key ingredient of the product is the patented raw chicken sternum cartilage extract known as UC-II®. Unlike other cartilage extracts or collagen products, it contains type II collagen in its undenatured (native) form, stabilized to prevent denaturation and digestion within the gastrointestinal tract. In its unchanged (native) form, it is able to reach the lymphoid tissues in the small intestine known as Peyer’s patches.

UC-II® has been used successfully in numerous clinical studies at a daily dose of 40 mg.

In addition, the product contains another patented chicken sternum cartilage extract called Chondractiv®. This ingredient provides type II collagen in partially hydrolyzed (pre-digested) form and also naturally contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin, and other aminoglycans as integral components of the cartilage’s natural extracellular matrix. As such, it is not comparable to isolated hyaluronic acid or chondroitin sulfate raw materials.

The formula also includes silicon derived from bamboo shoots, vitamin C, and Curcugreen® full-spectrum turmeric extract, which has been clinically shown to offer at least seven times greater bioavailability than standard turmeric extracts standardized to 95% curcumin.
