Q10 exists in two forms: the reduced form (ubiquinol) and the oxidized form (ubiquinone). Only the oxidized form can be produced naturally (ideally through plant fermentation). In the human body and in foods, however, both forms are present — and both are needed.

The reduced form is highly sensitive to heat, acid, and light; even stomach acid oxidizes it. Therefore, when taken orally, only the oxidized form is effectively available. The body then converts it into the reduced form as needed. As a result, even though we ingest only the oxidized form, roughly equal amounts of ubiquinol and ubiquinone circulate in the body. This conversion is carried out by our antioxidant system. When supported by proper nutrition — for example with adequate vitamin C intake — the body performs this reduction efficiently. Supplementing with the reduced form is therefore unnecessary and, when taken orally, essentially futile.

Q10 is a crystalline substance. It is completely insoluble in water and dissolves in oil only when heated, while maintaining it in dissolved, crystal-free form is challenging. Without being fully dissolved, its absorption is poor.

To solve this problem, we developed a simple yet previously unused solution: we created the highest possible concentration of Q10 solution capable of maintaining Q10 in a crystal-free, dissolved state across a wide temperature range. It is dissolved in MCT oil derived from sustainably sourced palm kernel oil, ensuring proper absorption even in cases of insufficient bile production.

To ensure stability — and to support the body’s proper internal reduction of Q10 — we have also added our unique antioxidant system.
